William COATS, Sr. & Joseph COATS; Joseph COATS b. ca 1705, England ?, d. 21 Mar 1753, Charles Town, SC, Immigrated to America ca 1719, m. Elizabeth Ann MARR, b. ca 1710, were
the parents of Sion COATS b. ca 1742, SC, d. ca 1830, SC, lst m. Mary PERRY ca 1769, 2nd
m. her sister, Sarah PERRY.
