Zula Kenyon Coates

My Great Great Grandmother came from (I understand) a Pennsylvaniania Dutch family that was part of Coates and Clark Threads. Her name was Zula Kenyon Coates. I would appreciate any information on anyone has on this branch of the family. My Grandmother, also named Zula, was born in 1914. The first Zula was an artist, her work showed up when Grandma (Zula 2) was in junior high on notebooks and postcards. One can still find the occasional print or postcard in antique shops today. This is a compelling story, Zula eventually ended up killing herself when her youngest child was an infant, somewhere in the wilds of Minnesota (post-partum?). Her husband, last name of Smith, was later murdered, during prohibition I think, and left in the street to die. This story haunted my grandmother and her father (Zulas first son, named Lawrence). I am looking for anyone who has a Coates relationship with a sister or cousin or something who was an artist. She ended up living in a cabin in the woods in Minnesots so she probably lost touch with the family. She was a new mother, so probably in her twenties when she died. Also anyone with a Kenyon-Coates relationship.
