Does anyone know anything about Jeffrey Coat or Coates who came over from England with his two brothers? His name, I'm told, was
somehow changed to Jeffcoat. I don't know if this connects with anyone in this forum.
I'm looking for info on Elishia Daniel Jeffcoat b. 1859 and married to Comfort Amanda Patterson. I'm not sure if they or the
parents of Dudley Jeffcoat or Robert Lawrence Jeffcoat (3rd cousins I believe). My grandmother Isabell Turner Jeffcoat was
married first to Dudley and after he died to Lawrence. I would love to hear from anyone who can shed some light on this line.
