I presume that John Coan's family, if not he himself was from Ireland. My family (that John married into) was from Ireland. I will check what records I have Ellen and John and see if I have his birthplace. Ellen's first husband is buried in the family plot in Worcester. I don't believe that either Ellen or John are buried there or even in that cemetery.
