I just happened to find your message regarding the Coan family. I am just starting to do research on my grandmother's side. It's the first time that I have found so many responses on the Coan family. The only names I have on my list is Abbey Jane Coan, which is my mother's great grandmother. I also have a name of Nelson Coan. If any of these name sounds familiar I would really appreciate a response.
