What I think I know is that; your Andrew Coan, father of Anna Coan who married William Skinner is also the father of Elizabeth Coan who married Patrick Hoy. Patrick Hoy is also from Antrim, Raloo, Ireland and came to America about the same time. I am still trying confirm that Patrick Hoy is indeed the father of my John Hayden Hoy. If Patrick is not JH Hoy's father, he is certinally his uncle. But, to complicate the story; John Hayden Hoy's son, Patrick Crawford Hoy, married a Mary J Snoddy who's paternal grandmother was a Jane Cowen/Cowan, also from Antrin Raloo, Ireland. I believe her real name was Coan and she may be a relative of our Andrew Coan. If any of this makes any sense or if you have any comments please feel free to respond. I do have some documetnation of our Andrew Coan and would be glad to share what I know and have.
