Looking for ancestors of John Coan & Mary Cassidy Coan of Ireland. They had a son, John Coan born 7-1-1847 in Ireland who married Elizabeth Fallon Coan who was born 5-18-1851 in Ireland. I don't know if he was a Junior, but I'll refer to him as Jr. Jr. died 5-26-1931 in Eyota Minnesota, and Elizabeth died 2-2-1920 in Olmstead County, MN, and is buried in Rochester, MN. John & Elizabeth had a son named Harry Joseph Coan (my grandfather) born 2-2-1885 in Eyota, MN and died 3-5-1955. Harry married Vida Blanche Slawson. One of their children was my mother, Ruth Francis Coan (Rivers). I am tyring to trace back to Ireland.
