I have an Isaac Coan (BD 1795 in SC) & Thirza Kinman (BD 1798) married 1/19/1820 in Pike County, IN. They had a son William E. Coan (BD 1826). William E. married Mary Whaley 4/15/1849 in Pike County, IN & they had 2 children: William R. (BD 1852) & Maid (BD 1857). Second wife of William E. is Caroline Orsburn. They married 9/19/1858. William E. was still alive 11/9/1872, when Isaac wrote his will. My connection is with another of Isaac & Thirza sons. Hope this infomation is helpful to you. I would appreciate any information you have.
