John Alexander Coan 1824 NC to Tallapoosa Cty. AL by 1850

I am looking for Irish and North Carolina ancestors or siblings of John Alexander Coan and his wife who settled in Tallapoosa Cty,. AL by 1850. His wife was Eliza J. Williams born 1827 South Carolina. They married in SC in 1843. Their children were:

Susan A. Coan         1844
Harriet E. Coan         1847
John Benjamin Coan         1850
James Percival Coan 1853
Thomas JeffersonCoan 1856
Sarah A.T.J. Coan         1859
Albert Wesley Coan         1863

The children married into Rogers, Goldens and Cadenheads in Tallapoosa Cty, AL and many of the grandchildren moved on to Comanche County, TX by the 1890s.

Unusual family names include Sidney, Leander, Percival, Harriet, Wesley, Albert, Grier, Cora, as well as the usual John, James and Thomas.
