I am looking for information regarding Eliza Jane Coan, who was born about 1800 in New York, although I do not know where. She married Benjamin Franklin Murphey, and they ultimately ended up in Ohio. Their daughter, Rachel Murphey married William C Hodge in California in the 1850s, and the eventually returned to Illinois.
