Dear Tom Cassidy
My maiden name is COAN and my gt.grandfather is John Tyrrell Coan I have been researching since 1979 and am now way back to John Tyrrell's grandfather in Suffolk. Where are you living ? I am in Middlesex. I know of many of your descendants on Algernon's tree including Leonard Algernon Coan who is a member of my COFAMS One-Name Society. I send out a newsletter every four months. Send me your address if you want to have a look at all the info. I had a feeling that Cecil Sidney was killed in the Great War.
Cheers and get in touch soon. Eileen Perrin
