My nephew's wife is a descendant of this COON/COAN family. I have been working on her genealogy for my new great-niece. They descend through Henry Harrison COAN son of John D. and his second wife, Margaret RYRTSEL. Henry married Sarah Jane ABBOTT. Their son Odos Ovosco COAN married Theodosia AIKINS. The family moved to Washington state. Odos O. had a son Odos Clayton COAN who married Grace Lida RUPPRATH. They were my niece's grand parents. Would love to excange information. I just started working on this line again and need to do some primary souce searching, but am willing to share what I have.
