I'm looking for the parents, etc., of Elizabeth Roberts who was married to William Shafer about 1865. I am also looking for the parentage of William shafer.

William was born in Germany and probably died about 1877. Elizabeth was born October 14, 1843 in possibly VA or WV. She died April 10, 1924 in Yuma Co., CO and is buried in Grandview Cem. They lived in Washington County, KS and she moved to moved to Laird, Colorado in 1877. Their children were:
Mary Maude/Elizabeth Shafer b. May 19, 1867 in Washington, Washington Co., Kansas d. April 22, 1944 in Denver, Colorado
William Shafer
George Perry Shafer b. July 27, 1870 d.March 12, 1950
Nina Shafer b. 1875 d. 1877
