My great grandmother, Caroline McNeeley, was born Dec. 6, 1904. The fire was in 1907. I wish I could have sent you a picture of Goldfield as it now exists but I have all my pictures packed away due to our moving. Theres not much left. Only a dozen or two structures left. It was quite a thriving community at one time. If ever you can try reading a book on Cripple Creek, CO. Which Goldfield was one of the local communities.
