I found this obituary in the Saguache Crescent, Thursday, July 2, 1970: LEE HEAD DIES Funeral services were held on Monday, June 22 in Salida for Lee Head, who died of a heart attack at his home about 6:30 a.m. June 19, 1970. Attending the funeral from this area were relatives of Mrs. Head including her sister, Mrs. William H. Shelton and her husband and stepfather, Leslie Gullett of Moffat; a nephew Harold Bennett and family and friends of Monte Vista, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Means, Mr. and Mrs. Fank [sic] Clark of Sargents, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Dilley, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Means, Mr. and Mrs. Courtney Moore of Saguache, Floyd Moore, Roy Everson of Villa Grove, Earl Everson of Moffat. Mr. Head was born in Illiois May 23, 1896 and came to Colorado as a youth and was educated in Salida where he was a plumber by trade. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Ann, brothers John and Art of Salida, brother Earl and a sister Mrs. Dan Bowring of Grand Jct. and three daughters. Notify Administrator about this message?
