Bill, I found these newspaper articles in the paper of Bryan, Ohio. I got these back in the 1980's but I did not write the name of the newspaper. It reads as follows: Died "Hanna.-In Saguache County ,Col., on Dec. 26, 1879, of lung fever, Mr. Henry H. Hanna, of this place, aged 69years and 9 months. Mr. H. and wife had gone to Colorado on a visit, and had only been there twelve days when he died. His wife at last advise was lying very low with the same disease. Mr. H. was one of the early settlers of Defiance County, having settled there in 1842, and was the father of Mrs. J. Allison and Mrs. Levi Noble, of this place." The next week's paper: "Mrs. H. H. Hanna, formerly of this place, whom we mentioned last week as lying very low with lung fever in Saguache county, Col., is dead. Her death occurred three days after that of her husband. They were both taken sick on the cars on their way out and died shortly after arriving at their destination." I didn't know if the children brought them back here or if they were buried with her side of the family. I am glad you let me know. Thank you. Carol Hanna Notify Administrator about this message?
