I had a little difficulty finding this obituary until I looked at the SS Death Index and found that Juanita had lived at Sargents, which is in the extreme northern part of the county and much closer to Gunnison in Gunnison County. I called the Gunnison Country Times and they had the obituary. They mailed a photocopy of it to me and it included a photo of Juanita. I'll copy the text here. By the way, Claude and George Means, listed as pallbearers, are both cousins of mine. And if this is your family, are these Platz individuals related to Berniece (Platz) Whitten who lived here in Saguache, and her brother Jimmy, who dated my oldest sister many years ago?
