I am searching for descendants of James B. Donaldson, b 1837 ca in NY. He is in Colorado in 1880 working in the gold mines at Hahn's Peak. In 1877 he was appointed Sheriff of Routt County, to serve until the general election.
I work for Routt County Sheriff's Office and amy trying to obtain pictures of each sheriff, to display in our lobby.
Of the 27 sheriff's since 1877 I have puctures of all but 4.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
