Seeking information on the Wells, Rolando, Smith and Waggoner families that settled in Routt County in the latter 1800's for family history. Wells and Smith came out of Western Missouri after the Civil War. I'm specifically interested in family stories, legends, traditions, and old newspaper articles and histories involving the families.

Joseph Rolando; b. before 1899. Married Genevive Blanche Waggoner, 1917, in Oak Creek, Routt County, Colorado. Genevive b. January 02, 1899, Nyberg, Pueblo County, Colorado; d. September 13, 1948, Mount Harris Mine, Routt County, Colorado.
James Madison Smith; b. August 15, 1849, Boyle County, Kentucky; d. September 08, 1935, Oak Creek, Routt County, Colorado. Married Louise Catherine Wells, 1872, Lee's Summit, Jackson County, Missouri. Louise b. January 23, 1856, Lee's Summit, Jackson County, Missouri; d. January 01, 1936, Oak Creek, Routt County, Colorado.
