I am researching for William H. Evans b. abt. l825 Jefferson Co., TN. His wife was Elizabeth Jane Ruggles. This family lived at one time in or near Ioka, Jackson Twp., Keokuk County, Ia. This town was near Ollie, Ia.
It is my understanding many Keokuk County, Ia families migrated to around Monte Vista, CO and other parts of CO.\
William H. Evans and Eliz. Jane Ruggles Evans were my greatgrandparents. This era would probably be around l9l0.I would appreciate it if you could help me if possible on this family. I have no record of either William H. Evans or Elizabeth Jane Ruggles Evans's death or burial place. They also had a dau. Ellen (Ella) Evans who mar. a Joseph S. Vulgamott that I have not been able to find as to his family, children, death and burial place.
