I am looking for the parents of my grandmother, RoseAnna Toller. Her parents were supposed to have died when she was quite young. She was raised for awhile by an Aunt Lillian and an Uncle Joseph, no last name. The Aunt Lillian got a wood sliver in her foot while she was ironing, the sliver worked inself up to her heart, killing her.
The grandmother then took over raising RoseAnna. No last name for her either. On her death bed she asked my grandfather Frank Noble to take RoseAnna and raise her. He kept his promise, raised her and married her in 1920 in Colorado. He was a manager of a Sugar Beet factory, outside Pueblo, CO. RoseAnna was supposed to have been a transcriber for the County Clerk in Pueblo, Co. She had beautiful penmanship I'm told. Three of her children were born in Pueblo CO. Grandmother, RoseAnna, didn't want anyone to know her age. She said she was born in 1905. My mother's birth certificate states she was 22 when Mom was born in 1921. Her marriage certificate states she was 21. Does anyone know of any Toller's in McLennon Co. in 1900? This is a shot in the dark. Grandma never talked about her raising, except that she married an old man and she wasn't happy. Grandpa was born in 1885, in CA. Now that I've rattled on, I've got it out of my system. Thank you for your time.
