I am looking for information on Samuel Wilmarth ( or Willmarth ) and his son George who were living in Fairplay in the 1880s. They were both blacksmiths. I am especially interested in finding out more about the circumstances of George's death in Fairplay May 24, 1890. He died of a gunshot wound at age 26. Samuel also died in Fairplay April 23, 1908. Is there any info available on him? Are there newspaper obituaries in the local library? Any help would be appreciated.
