Per Nellie's sister's obit (see below), it showed her living in Greeley, Weld, CO, in June 1944. They were living in CO as early as 1920 as the 1920 census found James Courtland Campbell & Nellie Frances Brownell living with 2 children in Orchard, Morgan Co., CO.

Here is Clara Berintha (Brownell) Holden's obits from a local newspaper in St. Louis:
"HOLDEN, BORWNELL CLARA--Entered into rest Thurs., June 22, 1944, 9:15p p. m. dearly beloved wife of the late Dr. W.A. Holden, dear sister of Mrs. H. B. Meyer of Dayton, O., E. E. Brownell of Columbus, O., Mrs. Nellie Campbell of Greeley, Colo., and Mrs. Dot Kanmacher of Columbus, O. our aunt and sister-in-law.
Services will be held at the Provost Mortuary, 3710 N. Grand, Fri., June 23, 8 p. m. Internment at the Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, O."
