Frank,

I am not certain about the marriage date, or that they actually married in Colorado. They appear on the 1930 Census for Marion County, Illinois. They moved to DeKalb County, Alabama, where she died November 12, 1937. He returned to Illinois.

Lydia E. Betz was born June 6, 1885 in Cullman, Alabama. The story goes that she left home at a very early age, went west with a group of Indians where she lived with them for a while. She may have been married to someone else for a time before marrying Lee Morris.

Could you post the marriages, dates and names of the grooms that you have found for Lydia Betz if they are before 1930? I have no information about her between 1900 and 1930.
