Cullen,

Is there a way to trace back from the 1900 census on M. f. ( Maries, Maris, or Mairies) on other census records?

I have limited acess to the internet and what info I have found is that i go to google and type in names. I am trying to find this info out for my Uncle who is in his late 70's and in bad health and before he is gone. He has been trying since 1969 to find out the family ever since his parents( my grandparents) died in 1969. What info there was on the family went to the grave with them.

If you could help me trace back on census records the M F or the Neumaris, or newman or Maries or the other names i have listed to all the way to 1860 in nodaway county maybe that would give some clues. Maybe there were other John and Elizabeth montgomery's in the Nodaway county census that I do not know. So from 1900 backwards that would be about 4 census.

I appreciate all you are doing to help me. i have enjoyed helping my uncle for it is interesting to find about your family.

Shirlene
