Thanks for the reply. Yes I would like to have copies of the census records. My trouble is that I can not find the tie between M F or Maris or Maries to the John and Elizabeth Montgomery I found in Maryville Missouri. If I could find this then I would know that I have the right John and Elizabeth. Of couse I just happened to run upon something on the internet that stated they were in the Maryville census. What confuses me is the name Neumaris on one place and on another Newman. On M F ( Maries ) death certificate is list Elizabeths birth place as Pennsylvia or Tennessee.I see either a Penn or a Tenn. kind of hard to read it. I think I have the right John and Elizabeth but want to be for sure. I hate to tie myself to a family that may not even be mine. If I do have the right ones then I think that Johns parents are David and Elizabeth ( troutman) Montgomery. They too also moved to Pike County Illinois.
How can i get info on my Grand father being born in Colorado? He is the John Ronald that you list.
M F's wife is Jennie Spencer daughter of Elbridge Gerry (Gary) Spencer. I would like to find some census on Jennie and Elbridge. If you look on the internet and type in Elbridge gerry spencer you find some interesting info about him and U F O's.
I appreciate anything you can give me. Like i said I need to tie the M F and a John and Elizabeth together.
