O'Lear family was in Streator, IL late 1880's. They then moved to Colorado. They were Slovaks. When did they arrive in US and from where--Austria, Czechoslavakia, Hungary? Michael (Mihaly) Ambro and family are on the 1869 Hungarian Census. He died in a railroad accident in 1901 in Old Colorado City (Colorado Springs, CO). When and how did they arrive in the US? O'Lears worked for railroad, mined coal, and farmed. Many of the family lived in Elbert, El Paso, and Pueblo counties.
