Just realized I forgot to post my latest findings...two more generations that put our direct line back 16 generations!
Descendants of Thomas Peyton
Generation No. 1
1. THOMAS1 PEYTON was born in England, and died 1555 in Tardebigge, County Worcester, England. He married (1) (?) in England. He married (2) AGNES.
Notes for THOMAS PEYTON:
In his will, dated March 7, 1554, Thomas named his second wife, Agnes, and her daughter, Johane Gest. He also made bequests to his sons, Thomas and John, and his daughter, Johan Peyton. In his will, Thomas made a bequest "to my four children that I had by my last wife" which was an additional bequest to those that were made to Thomas, John, and Johan.
His son, William, was names a Lessee of the Abbot of Bordesley in 1538. As William, Thomas, John, and Johan Peyton were listed as lessees of the Manor of Bordesley in 1561, it is most likely they were full brothers and sister, and most likely the children of his first wife (whose name we do not know).

Notes for AGNES:
Anges had a daugher, Johane Gest, apparently from a previous marriage. Agnes' husband named both Agnes (his second wife) and her daughter Johane in his will dated March 7, 1554.
