Melissa, i spoke to my mother-in-law, they didnot live at La Junta, they lived at Swink, Co, otero co., she said. apparently, they lived out there from sometime in the 1920's- 1930's. Supposedly, they had to move because the climate was too high for her mother and she would get really bad nosebleeds from the altitude. she had several infant brothers who died before she was born and they are buried out there or so she thinks, she also had a brother named Everette who was probably only 2 yrs younger. does this help??? thanks. Judy
