RHODES/SANBORN

Am looking for information on the Rhodes family that moved from Missouri to Colorado close to the end of the civil war. Here is all that I have so far. Also anything on the Sanborn's as well. Hopefully, someone can take me further on this.

Am trying to research my family history:
On the Rhodes side, my great grandmother was Hattie B. Rhodes. She married my great grandfather, Burr Flag Sanborn on Jun 4, 1896 in Pueblo, Pueblo, Colorado. Burr was born about 1876.
Hattie had the following brothers and sisters:
Grant Edgar Rhodes - married a Lidia may have died 9/12/1952
Irwin Elmo (Banty) Rhodes - married, no children may have died 10/26/1962
Fred Rhodes - died at age 32, never married, shot as a teenager on a hunting trip and never fully recovered from his injuries.
Walter Rhodes was blind
Mary Rhodes - married a man named Mitchell, one daughter named Mary
Myra Rhodes - married a man named Rayburn, 1 son named Don
Hattie Rhodes (Sanborn) looks to be buried at ROSELAWN CEMETERY. Pueblo CO. Burial date. SANBORN, Hattie B. Lot. 49 Block 17 31 Aug- 1913 #10872

According to the letter from my grandfather, the Rhodes family came from St. Joseph, Missouri. Here is some of what he wrote:

As they got near Pueblo, they started looking for some land they wanted to homestead on. They found a place on the Huerfano River, about 20 miles east of Pueblo and went to the land office to file on it.

Here is some more detail that I have been able to find.

Thanks,
