I would like to connect to a descendant of Herman C. and Elmira Burns Schultz or find out more about the family. I do not have information on their descendants other than what I have concluded from census records. I found census records for 1920 and 1930 in Mesa County. 1920 Moline Mesa Colorado Herman C 59 Germany, Maris 49 Michigan, Clifford 29 Colorado. Davey 20 colorado (indexed as Davey would be Dewey) Dossie 17. John 13. Oral 10 1930 Moline Mesa Colorado Herman C 70, Elmira 60, Clifford C. 38, Robert M. 31, Dewey J 29, John E. 24, Oral 20 next door Dossie 27 with wife Martha 23 and baby Marjorie Herman is listed as renting and Doss as owning 1900 census in Morgan Co Colorado also has Irene 1801 in the family. 1910 Census in Delta Co Colorado also has a a Bernard age 11 although Bernard is not on 1900 census he may be Doss or Dossie and should be listed as 7 not 11 in 1910 census. I found WWI reg. for Robert Milton (Oct 18 1896) Clifford Charles (Oct 30 1889) I also found a John Raymond Schultz (Nov 22 1893, born at Fort Morgan and living in the same area of Mesa County as Robert and Clifford) The 1900 census shows a Ray born Nov 1893 and 1910 census shows Ray as 16 and John as 7. Robert Milton Schultz is shown as a Private in BLN co. from Colbran, Mesa Co. Colorado in WWI. In Mesa Cemetery (Fairview Cemetery) Mesa Co. Colorado is Mina 1869- 1958 and Dewey Oct 14 1899 - April 28 1944 The birth year 1869 for Mina fits Elmira Burns Schults married to Herman C. Schultz about 1890. Elmira or Mina or Mira was Elmira Burns daughter of John W. and Finnis Burns born in Michigan and traveled to Colorado with her family probably in late 1880s to Morgan County Colorado. John W. and Finnis are ancestors and Elmira would be a gr aunt. Thank you Notify Administrator about this message?
