The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, November 22, 1906 A wedding which came in the way of a surprise, was solemnized by Rev Nathan Evans at the Methodist Parsonage, Tuesday at 4 o'clock p.m. The contracting parties being MR. HARRY JOHNSON of Sterling, Colo. and MISS OLIVE MCENDREE of this city. The bride was dressed in a gray travelling suit. She is the daughter of MR. and MRS. F.O. MCENDREE and is well known here, having spent her entire life in this community. She is a graduate of the Chariton High School in the class of 1906 and is well fitted in every way to preside over a home. The groom is a son of MRS. ALICE JOHNSON of this city, where he grew to manhood. The young couple left immediately for their new home in Sterling, Colo., where he is employed as a train brakeman.
