The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, November 22, 1906

A wedding which came in the way of a surprise, was solemnized by Rev Nathan
Evans at the Methodist Parsonage, Tuesday at 4 o'clock p.m. The contracting
parties being MR. HARRY JOHNSON of Sterling, Colo. and MISS OLIVE MCENDREE of this city.

The bride was dressed in a gray travelling suit. She is the daughter of MR.
and MRS. F.O. MCENDREE and is well known here, having spent her entire life
in this community. She is a graduate of the Chariton High School in the
class of 1906 and is well fitted in every way to preside over a home. The
groom is a son of MRS. ALICE JOHNSON of this city, where he grew to manhood.

The young couple left immediately for their new home in Sterling, Colo.,
where he is employed as a train brakeman. The Leader joins their many
friends in congratulations.
