Elizabeth Binder
1909-1980
Elizabeth Binder, age 70, of Pigeon passed away Thursday, November 20, at University Hospital, Ann Arbor.
She was born on December 8, 1909, daughter of Jacob and Marie Brug, Sr. in Fort Collins, Colorado. On June 27, 1943 she was united in marriage to Norman J. Binder in Bay City. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kilmanagh.
Mrs. Binder is survived by her husband, Norman J.; two daughters, Mrs. Doris A. Medlin, Wake Forest, North Carolina and Miss Janet M. Binder, Rhododendron, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. Lydia Werschky, Sebewaing, Mrs. Katherine Meyer, Bay City and Mrs. Mary Yurk, Flint; three brothers, Henry Brug, Mt. Morris, Jacob Brug Jr., Bay City and Fred Brug, Lake Jackson, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. from St. John's Lutheran Church, Kilmanagh. The Rev. Wayne Wentzel will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
