West). Benjamin THAYER migrated from Randolph County, NC to KS about 1858 settling in Le Loup, Franklin County. Benjamin THAYER’s father was James THAYER 1780 - 1834 who was my great great grandfather and the father of my great grandfather Wyatt THAYER. Benjamin’s sons fought for the North during the Civil War and the sons of his brothers, including my own grandfather, were in the Confederate army. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Don Thayer.
