I am looking for more information on this man. He led quite a life!

I have this
Franklin Jordan born 3 June 1841 died 11 Oct 1914 both in Saco, York, ME.
Went to sea at age 16
Civil War Vet, USN, Jordan, Franklin, Act. Ensign USN (listed in “MOLLUS”)

Married twice #1 Margaret Scammon 16 Aug 1865 she born 1843 Saco, ME. Died 12 Sept 1869 Cedar Keys, Levy, FL. #2 Jennie Hatch 5 Oct 1871 married ?? Born ?? died 29 May 1877 in FL. Jennie was first married to ?? Mitchell, Franklin & Jennie had son Franklin Jr. born 23 Jan 1876 Jacksonville, Duval, FL. He put into Orphanage soon after birth.

AND I found his Masonic Obituary
Civil War was on ship Macedonia & Kingfisher & in command of Ship Wildcat. Was present at Fort Sumter when it retaken & helped raise the flag.
Discharged from U S Coast Survey in 1868
Later in Army & spent much time in South West US & in command of a company of Indians.

He was friend of Kit Carson & attended Masonic meetings with him in AZ.

Went to CA. studied Law and practised law for 25 years. In CA. & ME.
Past Commander of Los Angeles Commandery of Knights Templar & was a 33degree Mason, taking the degree In San Francisco, Dec 28, 1901
