My great-grandfather, John Hitchens (1858-1907)was one of seven brothers(Alfred, Frederick, James Henry II, John, Joseph, Richard Henry, Wesley, William Malachi), many of whom left the tin mines of Cornwall to mine gold in Central City, Gilpin County, Colorado. John married Caroline Carlyon in 1883 in Central City.

I would like to hear from anyone (cousins???)who may have infromation on these folks and their families.
