old Winchester Hotel in Rifle

Does anyone have any documentation or stories about the old Winchester Hotel in Rifle, Colorado (not the current one)? It sat on the east side of Railroad Avenue, just south of Third Street. My great grandmother, Rosa Arthur (wife of Reginald) ran it for a time, probably in the 1940s or early 50s.
