Eleven Italians and a White Man killed in Colorado
Glenwood, Col., Sept. 4 -- A coal dust explosion in one of the chambers of the Sunshine coal mine, the property of the Colorado Fuel and Iron company, at Sunshine, some sixteen miles southeast of Glenwood Springs, killed eleven Italians and one American last night a few minutes before 6 o'clock.
In the whole property there are 50 to 55 men employed. The single chamber where the men were killed wsa only one damaged. Two house after the explosion occurred the bodies of the dead mean were all brought to the surface.
