I am looking for the descendents of the children of ADAM J. MCGOWAN. He was married to MARY A. TERRILL Feb. 23, 1873 in Waushara Co., WI. His first five children were born there, and the last four in Fremont Co., Canon City, CO.

ROBERT JOHN - B. March 18,
Died - April 2, 1911
CYNTHIA MAY - B. April 20,1876
FRANCIS HENRY-B. April 19,1877
MAGGIE BELL-B. 1879
EVA VIOLA- B. Dec. 1, 1885
ARDIN & ADIN (Twins)
B. June 20, 1887
EDITH MARY- B. July 21, 1892
(Possibly married a DERMODY)
I have a 50th anniversary clipping of ADAM and MARY, and their address at the time, was 1119 West Mountain Avenue, possibly somewhere in Fremont Co. They celebrated it at the home of their daughters, Cynthia and Margaret. Margaret was the head of the Math Dept. in Canon City High School, and Cynthia was principal of the Remington School of Canon City. This would have been in 1923. Both daughters remained single.
Other guests attending the dinner were REV. and Mrs. C.W. SHAW, CHARLES MCGOWAN, MR. and MRS. B. G. WOODFORD and MR. and MRS.FRANCIS BATCHELOR.
I wish I knew the newspaper this clipping came from - I am quite certain it was not from CANON CITY - but somewhere else in CO - and hopefully in FREMONT CO., CO.
Adam's date of death was Jan. 16, 1932.
If there are any family members left in CO, I would love to hear from you. This has been a difficult family to trace because so many stayed single, or died young.
I also think Eva married a COLLISTER, and lived in DUBUQUE, IA.
