I have been reading in Mabel Hall's 'Upper Beaver Creek' and have not come across mention of this Hall family, at least that I recognize.

Mabel's husband, Fred, is a son of Dave Hall. Dave and his brother Merriman originally came from Halltown, North Carolina, as did the Lackey family. No mention of Wisconsin.

Mabel's book is an informal history of the early families of the Upper Beaver Creek area and some of their stories.
