further research shows her passport application...
on it, it show in her handwriting that she immigrated to america sailing from malmo, sweden on october 10, 1897.
it continues to state, according to the form, that "i resided 26 years, uninterruptedly in the united states" from 1897 to 1923, in texas and in colorado...
(i did find and entry on passenger lists that showd landing in tx, but it is part of the worldwide collection, which i do not have - it is in swedish)
she became naturalized in colorado springs, co on sep 25, 1923...
it also stated that her father august, was deceased and that she never married and the she never had a passport, before...
she also states where she is a resident -- at rockledge in manitou.
for your info: the heath family were millionaires and rockledge was and still is a fabulous building - some 7700 sq feet of it!!! craftwood (which now called craftwood inn) is one of the best b&b in the country...
so, it appears that tx is the place to start your search and then come north into colorado.
