I am looking for anyone who may be related to or has information on the Houston L. and Annie Geneva Walker Phipps family of Colorado Springs, Colorado. They were from Grainger Co., Tennessee, being born in 1871 and 28 Jan. 1877 and married on 26 Sept. 1885 in Tenn. They were in Texas in 1910 and 1920 and in Colorado Springs in 1930. Letters from Annie to her folks back in Knoxville indicate they were still living there in 1937. Both Annie and Houston are buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs. She died 11 June 1938 and Houston died on 5 March 1960.
They had three children, Hubert M. Phipps who was born on 28 Feb. 1898 and died on 10 Aug.1899 in Claiborne Co, Tennessee, and Lettie M. Phipps and Mary (Mollie)Phipps who married George Jones. They were born ca 1900-1904. Lettie did marry and both she and Mollie apparently had children and lived close to their parents as per information from Annie's letters. I would like to find the descendants of Annie's children.
