Would like to hear or exchange information with anyone on the DAKE family, especially AC Dake.
Alvin C Dake produced charcoal in Lake and Park County, CO from 1878-1992 before moving his operation to NM. In 1886, he and others in the Denver County area started a cattle feeding operation. Alvin was one of the owners in the Williams & Woods grocery house in Denver which was started in 1888. In 1877 he began to invest in Denver real estate which was productive. Alvin was a member of the Mason's since 1875 and at the time of his death in 1902 was a member of the board of the Denver Park's Commission.
There were other DAKE members in this operation but they have proven elusive. Would like to communicate with anyone on these topics.
