If you haven't found out all you want to know about the Sellers (vt spellings) by now--Manassa is instead in Conejos County Colorado and the Sellers family went to Manassa as LDS converts & settlers there in 1878 and settled first east of Manassa at Los Cerritos--these areas border Costilla County (San Luis, county seat). In 1878 or close to that date, Daniel Sellers, a 14 y/o in mid November went by wagon to Ft. Garland/San Luis to get food supplies for families, destitute by this time & not being used to the frigid cold winters and not having enough provisions to see them through winter & got caught in a snow storm-so this may the Costilla connection. Access <www.familysearch.org> and the searches at that site. Early family stalwart LDS as many descendants still may be and info is sure to be on that site. Try also the various website for surname spelling and this site at Colorado & Conejos.
