No, I wouldn't tell you that. Maybe there was no assests to declare? Maybe the family didn't own real property in Boulder. Death certificates are requested from the State of Colorado, not the counties. Your timeline (1920-1930) falls where the State splits its search perameters. 1900-1925, 1926-1950. The results are that it will cost you an extra charge to search 2 indices. Which in the scheme of things isn't bad. If nothing else it eliminates some of the unknowns.
