HELP - Louisville Public Library
Posted by: David Knowles (ID *****9613) Date: February 07, 2003 at 17:49:00

I wish the people who put together official web pages had a button - "Navigating for Dummies" ! AARRGGHH

Ref: Louisville Times & Louisville Library

I have a booklet "The Louisville Story" by Carolyn Conarroe, copyright Louisville Times 1978.

On page 44 is a picture of the Methodist Church (guess ca.1910). It is noted as "Photo from collection of Louisville Library".

I would like to get permission to copy, from the booklet or the library collection, the photo. My ggg-grandfather was the early (unordained) leader of that church. I want to bundle it with a photo of the church I took in 1992 and with a copy of the "Incorporation" papers I received from the Clerks office and post it all to the Boulder GenWeb site.

I can't find a listing in the library catalogue for a photo collection. Has it been transfered elsewhere ? Possibly to the Carnegie ?

Thanks for any help
David
