Looking for a Wilson - Louderback family connection & documents
A Marriage Record of Adams County Ohio 1797-1894 by Adams county Genealogical Society Vol. I 1988 was passed to me by a Louderback family member. In it is recorded a John Louderback married to a Hannah Dunman February 15, 1809 and David Wilson married to a Susa Louderback 31 October 1811 by a Jeptha Beasley.
We believe that David Wilson & Susa Louderback could be the parents of a Michael L. Wilson born 1823, Delilah Wilson 1823 and a James Wilson.. We have verbal statements to this being the case but lack a document proving it. We also have a letter written February 7, 1850 by a Susana (Louderback) Wilson living in the home of Michael L. Wilson to her brother Michael Louderback with the address at that time being Brown County Ohio New Hop Post Office. There is also a letter by Michael L. and Sarah Ann (Bartlett) Wilson too this Michael Louderback. The Susana (Louderback) Wilson’s father was a Michael Louderback born 1770 in Germany, to this household there born 8 children.
The long and short of my search is for a marriage certificate—death certificate— obits— or family records of primarily David & Susa (Louderback) Wilson—Delilah Wilson— James Wilson the parents of Susa (Louderback) Wilson of the fore mentioned marriage record or anything such as census and so on.
