David, George Meek b.Linlithgow and Maggie Clydesdale b. Bo,ness, were my gt,g,parents. Both died Springburn,Glasgow. Robert was a pit enginekeeper b.Bothwell either in 1815 or 1817 to John Clydesdale and Mary MacAllister.He Married Mary Russell b.1818 either Shotts or Houston 21 May 1837, Robert died 7th Dec 1887 Snab,Bo,ness. Mary MacAllister b.1780 or 1788 (sorry this is a bit vague)married John Clydesdale,farmer, her father John MacAllister,farmer, her mother Margaret Hendry. Mary died 7th Sep 1860,Calderbank, buried Holytown Cemy, informant Thomas Davidson,son in law. I presume Bothwell, for John and the MacAllisters. fascinating stuff, Roberts parents?
