I am researching Mary Clunie who was born in approx 1821 in New York, according to the british 1881 census. Her father was a baker and I think she may have had a brother called Andrew. By 1846 she was in england and had married Charles Randall, at the time of her marriage she was living in Jubilee Place in the Kennsington or Chelsea area of London. She was working as a dressmaker and as her father in Law was a tailor it is possible that she worked either for him or with him.

Looking on the 1881 census I can find no record at all for an Andrew Clunie or a William Clunie of the right age or from the right area, this may suggest that they were only over from the USA for the wedding or of course they may have just died!!!!!!!!
