Merritt, I have found a John Cluck that is listed in the PA Gazette "1748-1755". I don't no which one this could be. I have been told that a John Cluck docked in PA in 1600, this could possibly be some relation to our Henry, given that the name John is in about every generation so far. but maybe a great-grandpa, as far as our Henry coming with him, is not possible as he would have been over 200 yrs old when deseased so that info i heard was wrong. but i think we are on the right track. If this family started here in 1600, then we were pre-mayflower. The palentine movment didn't begin till 1700's, but that doesn't mean we weren't smart enough to leave before things got bad, haha.If you would like to e-mail me directly, that would be fine, [email protected] I am going to try to find the history back to Germany, you are doing a great job with info in America, i will keep you informed.Deb
